"Too many attempts" when signing in (this is not a fault)
If a password is typed wrong several times in a short period, Pump House pauses sign-in attempts for that account for a little while. You will see a message asking you to wait.
This is a safety feature, not a fault
This is a safety feature, not a fault. It stops a stranger from guessing passwords by trying over and over.
Only failed attempts count towards the pause: signing in correctly never triggers it, and a successful sign-in does not add to it.
What to do
Wait a few minutes, then try once, slowly and carefully. If you cannot remember the password, choose "Reset it" on the sign-in page instead of guessing. Guessing keeps the pause going.
