A due date looks wrong (it is usually right)
Each measure has a service frequency, which is how often that item must be serviced under AS1851, the Australian Standard for the routine servicing of fire protection systems and equipment. Pump House sets the first due date when the measure is attached to the building, then moves it forward by the frequency each time an inspection job covering that measure is finalised.
The last inspection was finalised on a different date than you remember
The next date counts from what was recorded, not what you remember. Open the building's history and check the date the last covering inspection was actually finalised.
The frequency setting is not what you assumed
Check it on the measure; it may carry a site-specific override. The catalogue default follows the standard, but a site contracted differently can be set differently on purpose.
A different measure at the same site is due sooner
The site shows the earliest date across its measures, so a site-level date can belong to a different measure than the one you are thinking of.
The last visit was a callout or a re-inspection
Those visits do not move the routine schedule, on purpose: fixing one fault in March does not push out the annual service. Only the routine inspection kinds (annual, biannual, six-monthly, monthly) move the due date, and only for the measures they actually covered.
